How the Internship Works

The internship runs in two stages.

  • Paper seminar intern — held every vacation period. Interns pick a topic, read recent papers together, and work through hands-on analysis. Recruiting closes at the end of each semester (late June and late December).
  • Research seminar intern — interns run their own research, write a paper, and present at a conference. Selected from strong course final projects and from paper-seminar interns.

Research-seminar experience is given preference in graduate admission. Full details and the recruiting schedule are on the Join page.
